Early Years Cambridge Early Years is a new programme for 3-6 year olds. It gives young learners the best start in life, helping them to meet key early milestones and thrive in and outside of school. Cambridge Early Years is the first stage in the Cambridge Pathway, which gives students a clear path for educational success from age 3-19. It is a child centered and play based programme that offers holistic and balanced curriculum, engaging classroom resources, professional development and assessment approaches to help measure learners progress.It helps children develop the knowledge, understanding and skills they need for the next stage in their education - whether they move on to Cambridge Primary or another programme. Classes Nursery and Prep began the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum in this Academic Session - 2023-24
Cambridge Primary starts learners on an exciting educational journey. Typically for 5 to 11 year olds, it provides a strong foundation for students at the beginning of their schooling before progressing through the Cambridge Pathway in an age-appropriate way. It is an international curriculum,used in over 160 countries around the world. Devised by subject experts and rooted in academic research, this curriculum is part of the University of Cambridge. The programme focuses on engaging children in global topics, getting them to think critically and develop a passion for learning. The primary curriculum is designed to provide learners with a solid foundation, which they can build upon as they progress through further education. It encourages children to be creative and innovative, building their independent thinking skills and allowing them to develop a love of learning. The flexibility of the programme means that it can be used in lots of different countries and types of schools, and it can be tailored to work alongside the national curriculum. Class 1 will be starting the Cambridge Primary curriculum from the next Academic Session - 2024-25.
